Let's go back to the summer of 2009 for a moment. In the backyard of a house in Albrook, a group of teenagers create a small production company called Vizu’s Films. It all started as a hobby. One of those adventures that is worth it since you embark it with friends.
Over time, that small group grew. Between 2009 and 2010, they filmed El Caballero Blanco, a film about a superhero who fought corruption in Panama. In 2011, the film opened in a one-off screening at a local movie theater. After this, they produce two short films, until the group disintegrated in early 2013. Now, a decade after starting that adventure, my sister Melanie Vizuete and I decided to honor the legacy of what Vizu’s Films meant at the beginning of our artistic career. VIZUS is an audiovisual production company founded by the Vizuete Siblings, which will seek to continue telling stories, just as we did all those years ago. Stories that can change you, just as they changed us. You can follow VIZUS here!
